MakerHolic Taobao Helper — Privacy Policy

MakerHolic Taobao Helper ("the extension") is a companion tool for MakerHolic users (staff, teachers and students). It adds a Taobao/Tmall product you are viewing to a purchase list in your MakerHolic account (app.makerholic.com or tool.makerholic.com).

What it accesses

• The product page you are viewing (taobao.com / tmall.com) — only when you click the extension — to read the product title, price, options and image.
• Your MakerHolic session cookie (from app.makerholic.com or tool.makerholic.com) — read so the extension can talk to your MakerHolic account on your behalf: verify your account type, show only the purchase lists your account may use, and save the item. The cookie is never stored by the extension or sent anywhere except your own MakerHolic server.

Where data goes

Product information you choose to add is sent only to your own MakerHolic app (app.makerholic.com / tool.makerholic.com) and stored in your purchase lists there. Nothing is sent to the extension authors or any third party. The extension does not track your browsing, show ads, or collect analytics.

Data retention

The extension stores nothing itself. Items you add live in your MakerHolic account, subject to MakerHolic's own data handling.
